• "Monotype Octavian was used as the typeface. Harry McIntosh machine-set the type fron digital copy, and Martyn Ould printed it letterpress in the summer of 2002 on 175gsm Somerset Book paper using a Western proof press. The diecase for Octavian was kindly loaned to the Press by Sebastian Carter. The matrices for castin accented sorts were specially made using punches newly cut by Parminder Kumar Rajput from original patterns at Monotype Hot-Metal, kindly made available by Duncan Avery. The digital images were created by Philip Hughes with the assistance of Julie Melrose and were printed at Giclée Editions by Steve Gill using an Iris printer, the large images on 330gsm Somerset Velvet paper, the small images on 115gsm Somerset Book. The binding was executed by The Fine Bindery with a pattern paper by Claire Maziarczyk on the boards. Carmen Boullosa has copyright in the text. Psiche Hughes has copyright in the translation, and Philip Hughe has copyright in the images. All rights reserved.
