- Summary
- This is one of Tennessee Williams most famous plays. It introduces us to the virile and explosive character of Stanley Kowalski and his wife Stella, in the setting of a steamy New Orleans summer. Stella's sister, Blanche Dubois, comes for a visit and her torid sexuality and tainted past adds heat and lust to an already explosive family picture.
