• "This, the second volume of the Gehenna Shakespeare, illustrated with woodcuts and drawings by Leonard Baskin, is printed on Gehenna-Shakespeare, a paper made for this edition by the Strathmore mills. The woodcuts are printed from the blocks on Japanese paper. The letterpress, hand-set in Centaur type by Mackenzie & Harris of San Francisco, was printed by Harold McGrath. The text is based on the Methuen Arden edition, M.R. Ridley, editior. Four hundred copies were printed as follows: two hundred with an additional suite of woodcuts, signed by the artist, available only from the Kennedy Galleries in New York, are numbered 1-2000. Two hundred bound copies, signed by Leonard Baskin in the colophon, are numbered I-CC. The workd achieved in the winder of mcmlxxiii. This is copy -." -- colophon.
