  • Color pictorial mid-Century modern promotional map of Northern California, tell the history of the greater San Francisco Bay area. Showing vaqueros and missions; wagon trains and railroads; women at the beach and sailboats out at sea; eagles and skunks and deer and lots of cows and horses; fishing fleets; the Ferry Building; the UC Berkeley Campanile; Stanford University Hoover Tower; the Capitol building; large airplanes crossing the bay and grain elevators on the landscape. Also shows the Wine Regions of Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley, the agricultural regions of Sacramento and San Joaquin, the farm equipment and industrial agriculture buildings, and the images of Skiers near Lake Tahoe.
