- Summary
- A compilation of memoranda from 1954-56, regarding Cold War strategies that he recommended to check the then Soviet Union as it was forming the Warsaw Pact. They focus mainly on the situation in Hungary at the time, including the forced collectivization over individual farming, and power struggles between factions. The memos have parallels to today's war in Ukraine, and Cherot's insights and proposals show a clear approach in the attempt to promote democracy and individual liberty; also includes communiques between him and Dr. Ralph Bunche, Martin Luther King, Jr. , and others. -- Equinox Celebration.
