- Highlights of the catalogue include Edward Curtis's "The North American Indian"; orginal glass plates for two of his photographs, his portraits "Walpi Man - Meator and Honovi - Walpi Snake Priest"; a powder horn used by a minuteman at the Battle of Concord, Thomas Jefferson's first book "Summary view of the rights of British America", the first edition of "The Federalist" owned by the man entrused by Washington with the safe-keeping of the original Constitution, and other works by original Founders including John Adams and Alexander Hamilton. Also, Walt Whitman books and manuscripts, Edgar Allan Poe's "The raven and other poems" in original wrappers, portrait photographs of Abraham Lincoln with his sons and letters, documents, a newspaper and relics from his deathbed, and a series of nineteenth-century American landscape photographs of the American West
