"Travel to parks and gardens used to exert a great fascination and allure for emulation or one-upmanship, and is still being accomplished in a variety of ways, thereby sustainably conveying, shaping, and safeguarding the garden heritage experience. Over past centuries, peoples' growing mobility and their need for relaxation as well as stimulation - which applies to this day - brought increasingly more of them closer to enjoying this unique pleasure through an interplay of history, mood and communication by using the example of garden, park and open space.
