Book about the importance of artist Marie Anne Antoinette Peretti in the history of modern art in Brazil. This lavishly illustrated edition brings together eight decades of the life and work of French-Brazilian artist known for her sculptures and, especially, for her Modernist stained glass creations, such as the one in the Cathedral of Brasília, DF. At the age of 87 years, the only woman to join the team of artists who accompanied architect Oscar Niemeyer in the construction of Brasilia, Marianne Peretti now has a first publication about her life and artistic work. "She is French, Brazilian, Pernambucan. An artist of multiple talents, intense, complex, and consistent with her time".
