Summary
This study of the offering of the menat-necklace in Egyptian culture includes analyses of the myths involving the necklace; its connection to the gods Hathor and Seth; its iconography; the translation of all of the relevant texts; and their grammatical, religious, and epigraphic analysis. Finally, the author takes into account the composition of the decorative program into which the menat-necklace offering is incorporated, and suggests correlations between different scenes.
