- Summary
- Vibrations take place inside and around buildings. Some architects can evoke places that vibrate with a special intense atmosphere. Through the works of Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects, the author Karsten R.S. Ifversen elaborates on the art of making architecture vibrate on the spot, in people and in time. He explains how these buildings have made Lundgaard & Tranberg amongst the most important Danish architects of our time: They take a Nordic tradition and the places conditions as their starting point, but their will to renew architecture exceeds the bare room. Ifversen holds a Master of Arts in philosophy and modern culture and is the architecture editor at the Danish newspaper Politiken. The photographer Jens Markus Lindhe was originally educated as an architect and is Denmark's most notable architecture photographer.
