Summary

Collection of Colombian artist and the preceding exhibition in the Centro de Artes de la Biblioteca Luis Echavarría Villegas, of the Universidad Eafit. The exhibitions is composed of more than a hundred symbolic or conceptual elements in his sculptures and objects, created during more than 20 years of artistic development from his workshop in Rionegro (East Antioquia). The catalogue comprises a collection of small and large art objects, related to topics such as uprooting, borders, territories and forced travel. His sculptures represent figures sailors cast in silver or aluminum, horses of long legs in bronze, Viking style boats assembled with iron rods and carved in pieces of comino crespo wood, the classical wood of Antioquia.
