Summary
This book is particularly concerned with a period in which Adnan Menderes was mentioned in detail by his actions during the Democratic Party's rule in the period of 1950-1960: "The Party of One Party," which served as prime minister during the Democratic Party's Power Period, Adnan Menderes, who had been criticized for many years, actually served as a deputy to this party for fourteen years and had important posts within the party. Therefore, his position in the CHP during the One Party Period, his views on the revolutions and the institutions of revolution are gaining importance from this point of view. You will find answers to many important issues in this book such as Menderes' viewpoint towards the People's Houses, attitudes and thoughts towards reactionary movements, and relations with İnönü. Many documents from the Presidential Archives and the Republican Archives of the Prime Ministry are also published for the first time in this study which is mainly prepared with the information obtained from the first hand sources. The data obtained from various correspondences, from the inspectorate reports and from the local newspapers of the period will not make sense of Adnan Menderes' thought structure during the One Party Period and will help to see the change in the comparisons made with the Democratic Party period.
