- "A true sufi mystic from central Punjab, Sain Marna voyaged through the province, living the life of a dervesh. Marna played the Ektara, an instrument famous amongst wandering souls like him, beautifully, engaging his listeners at truck stops in the sweet melody. It was his performance at Radio Pakistan in 19500's which pushed him towards fame and recognition. Sain Marna passed away in the 60s but is still revered for his devotion and love for music."
