- Summary
- The American artist Nicole Eisenman is best known for her drawings and paintings, which are often characterized by black humor and in-depth reflections on history, art history and popular culture, and in which she often uses citations to address present longings and nightmarish fears. The catalogue focuses for the first time on the sculptural work of Eisenman to a greater extent. In her sculptures Eisenman also shows her preference for the texture and the experimental play with different materials and their effects.
