Summary

The tradition of the Safâyî Tezkiresi, which started with Ali Şîr Nevayi in the 15th century in Turkish literature, continues uninterruptedly until the 20th century. In the 18th century, Kemiksiz-zâde Safvet Mustafa wrote Nuhbetü'l-âsâr fı̂-ferâ'idi'l-eş'âr, taking the model of the Safâyî Tezkıresi, another timbre of the century. Safvet Mustafa, while creating the hypothesis, summarizes Safâyî Tezkıresi to a great extent, corrects some information and sometimes adds new information. Safvet Mustafa does not take a part of the poets in the Safâyî Tezkiresi into his script. He also adds some poets and sample poems that are not in the Safâyî Tezkire and adds anecdotal notes about some poets with the title of commemorative. In this study, a study of translated text of Safvet Tezkıresi, which represents a ring of the tradition of the poets of poets in Turkish literature, is presented.
