- Description
- 23 pages; 26 cm
- Subject
- Swaine, Charles, active 1746-1766
- Drage, Theodorus Swaine, approximately 1712-1774
- The great probability of the north west passage: deduced from observations on the letter of Admiral de Feate, who sailed from the Callae of Lima on the discovery of a communication between the South Sea and the Atlantic Ocean
- Note
- Includes a resently found letter by Theodorue Swaine Drage (p. 7-20) and a reprint of the "Dedication of: The great probability of a northwest passage," of which work the author is doubtful. After "a careful restudy of all the known record including this lengthy letter," Mr. Eaverson believes that Charles Swaine, not Drage, is the author.
