Summary

Slanted Squares' gives a glimpse of the wide range of Marwan Rechmaoui's practice from the last two decades. It includes works in which Rechmaoui (b. 1964, Beirut, Lebanon), laureate Bonnefanten Award for Contemporary Art (BACA) 2019, is concerned with urban structures, and mapping in order to talk about the political and social landscape of Beirut and the region as a whole.
