Summary
Compilation of photographs of hand-made objects used by street sellers made with recycled materials. Presents a representation of the everyday commercial life in Haiti through the everyday tools, toys and accessories of Haitians and their ancestors. Roberto Stephenson (1964) is a well-known Haitian photographer. He is the son of a Haitian father and an Italian mother. After training in graphic design, he worked for 2 years as an assistant photographer and specialized in architectural photography. He has published several other photography books including Piccolo Taccuino Haitiano (2003), Interieurs d'Haiti (2004), Peyizaj (2014) and his photographs have been published in several journals.
