Summary

Improvisation all around. Above all: being perceived in moments and simultaneously in intervals between them. Improvisation not only as a creative method, but above all as an elementary way of perceiving the world. It leads to greater mindfulness and offers things to be seen in a changing context. Immediate improvisation, as well as the continual use of the principle of randomness. To understand everything in motion. Circle in all directions. And the lens is humor, but there are other prospects. Jan Schmid (1936) is a versatile artist, director and artist, founder of the legendary Ypsilon Studio (1963), a professor at DAMU. The way of thinking and the structure of his new book are to some extent linked to the author's previous epistles in chapters (2012) and in many ways also correspond to the poetics of an open work that the author has been confessing and developing all his life.
Improvizace kolem dokola. Především: bytí vnímat v okamžicích a současně v intervalech mezi nimi. Improvizace nejen coby tvůrčí metoda, ale především jako elementární způsob vnímání světa. Navádí k větší všímavosti a nabízí věci nahlížet v měnících se souvislostech. Improvizace řízená v bezprostřednosti, stejně jako stálé využívání principu nahodilosti. Vše umět chápat v pohybu. Kruh všemi směry. A optikou je humor, ale jsou zde i jiné vyhlídky. Jan Schmid (1936) je všestranný umělec, režisér a výtvarník, zakladatel legendárního Studia Ypsilon (1963), profesor DAMU. Způsob uvažování i struktura jeho nové knihy do jisté míry navazují na autorovy předchozí Epištoly v kapitolkách (2012) a v mnohém rovněž korespondují s poetikou otevřeného díla, kterou autor celý život vyznává a rozvíjí--Publisher
