This publication is composed of two books and a map that together account for an expanded historical gaze, a guide and a folded map to locate and explore the 28 parks and public gardens that existed between 1886 and 1938 in the Colombian capital. "Through the exploration of a wide repertoire of sources for research, this publication, which also includes a guide to touring the parks and gardens created between 1886 and 1938, is an evidence-rich account and derives reflections of very high value for understanding the historical itineraries that have given rise to the ways in which the Bogota of the present conceives and relates to its spheres of natural vegetation."
