- Texts that historian, priest, librarian, archaeologist, professor, researcher, and academic Rafael Montejano y Aguiñaga (México 1919-2000) wrote about the history of the stages and theatrical buildings that were built in the city of San Luis Potosí "from the 18th century to the 19th century. The same, that over mutated and adapted to the political and social environment of those times, which undoubtedly influenced in a major way, to the birth of a culture and appreciation of the scenic art in this city." (HKB Translation) --Page 9. The Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, at different times, has been the publishing house of the books of the academic, historian, chronicler, thinker, scholar of the state of San Luis Potosí, bibliophile and priest, Rafael Montejano y Aguiñaga. Since 1917 the university made new editions (two published electronically and four printed on paper) of his books in order to recognize the rotundo and undeniable legacy of the historian in the culture and history of San Luis Potosí.
