- Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Luke Allsbrook had his first serious art lessons with Augusta painter Edward Rice. The paintings in this exhibition are mostly of western North Carolina and examine Allsbrook's treatment of the landscape principally through the changing seasons of the year.
