- Summary
- The work deals with the architectures of the candomblé temples of the cities of Cachoeira and São Félix, in the Bahia Recôncavo, addressing the architectural aspects that differentiate them, their specificities and their relations with these cities. To this end, it seeks to understand how Afro-Brazilian culture, in the particular universe of these candomblés, constitutes the architecture of its Afro-Brazilian temples. Candomblés that with their nomadisms, deterritorializations, heterogeneities, and spatial appropriations given by their rituals, make up a network of sacred Afro-Brazilian places that build these Afro-Diasporic Cities.
