- This catalog is the outcome of the concern of officials and artists who decided to organize a first meeting of painters from the the region CU Costa Sur, convened by the Universidad de Guadalajara and held at the Casa Universitaria. At a meeting on March 5, 2020, an invitation was made in each municipality of the southern region of the State of Jalisco and 24 artists agreed to participate. The selection of works by each artist included in this catalogue was made by the artist themselves.
