  • Work that allows studies the colonial convents located on the slopes of the Popocatépetl volcano as a UNESCO world heritage site, whose strength is in an interdisciplinary view of these conventual complexes, addressing their history, architecture, iconography, movable goods, gastronomy, as well as their tourist significance and museography. The work is not a catalog of convents but an investigation into the patrimonial and cultural wealth that make up the convents located in the states of Puebla and Morelos; In addition to an invitation to continue conserving them despite the damage suffered by the earthquakes of 2017.
