Summary

Dedicated to the ritual practices of a community in Cuacuila, Puebla, in addition to pointing out information about neighboring communities of the same ethnic affiliation, as well as about neighboring indigenous peoples in the Sudhuasteco regional framework. Fundamentally dedicated to the description and analysis of the production of ritual bodies in the Indian compartment of rituality, the thesis considers as a counterpoint the bodies of the saints that appear in the mestizo ritual compartment and points out the articulation of the two compartments in attention to a saint of whom the Tepehuas keep one and the mestizos another bulk image.
