• The hanging presents the museum's collection of the artist's practice, which spans ? for the Horsens Art Museum? over the period 1983 ? 2019. In connection with the hanging, the museum has published a publication with text and images of the works in the collection.00Lars Nørgård (b. 1956) was educated at the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen in 1975-78 and at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco in 1980- 81. He was a member of the ?Værkstedet Verst? in the period 1982-1984 and was part of the group which through the 1980s was called ?De Vilde Unge?.00Lars Nørgård paints in a narrative and absurd figurative language, often with a critical bite. The paintings alternate between abstract and figurative form, where a convincing line and strangely composed color sound surfaces form a distinctive space of experience.
