- Summary
- "Dear reader, the characters in the story before you have no names and no nationality. It does not matter their color or any beliefs or orientations. They are the kind of people you meet every day on the street or at work, at school, on public transport or in the park, at university, at a game, at a concert, in a theater performance... You answer them, and they answer you, with a smile, sometimes sincere, sometimes just for the sake of order. . And maybe you're looking at each other, grimly, because of unprovoked antipathy or some action you don't agree with. You share a seat or a bench with them, chat or push each other in line in front of a counter or cash register. Nervously honk at each other in a line of vehicles stuck in a traffic jam. They are your relatives, neighbors, schoolmates, colleagues, partners... Or just random passers-by in your life, who leave no trace in it. The country where my fictional heroes live also has no name. It is found everywhere and nowhere. But it is not much different from the one where you live. It has two almost identical parts, northern and southern. Their inhabitants speak the same language, have similar religions, have the same everyday problems and good times. As much as this novel is a product of the writer's imagination, everything you will read on the following pages has already happened somewhere, is happening or will happen. Because, both on these pages and outside of them, people are just people." --
