Summary

Retrospective dedicated to painter Enrique Galdós Rivas, a Postwar & Contemporary Peruvian artist who was born in 1933. Like the ancient potters, muralists and weavers of ancient Peru, Galdos Rivas, known as the 'Wizard of Color' is a modern master inspired by the Peruvian ancestry. In his more than 6 decades of artistic career there are an average of 100 individual exhibitions and 2,200 works made. This exhibition comprises a selection of one hundred of his larger works where color and luminosity are the main elements of his work.
