Summary

The catalog comprises a corpus of more than 50 works by outstanding artists in the history of engraving in the Province of San Juan. The exhibition was curated by Silvina Martínez, Ariel Aballay and Facundo González. The Project "Recuperación y reedición de grabados" (Retrieval and reissue of engravings), composed of Silvina Martínez, Facundo González and Ariel Aballay, which has been taking place at the MPBAFR for four years, aims to reissue prints by postmortem artists and some contemporaries; specially made in etching and related techniques; woodcut or other embossing procedures; with the purpose of preserving and publicizing the patrimonial capital of San Juan in this artistic discipline.
