- Summary
- The painting of Arcangelo Ianelli makes a synthesis between light, expressive tones and geometric shapes, going beyond the visible world. Ianelli's trajectory is intertwined with that of MAM. In addition to the award-winning show in In 1978, the artist held two other solo exhibitions at the museum, one in 1961and another in 1999. The exhibition that MAM São Paulo presents, the year after the centenary of Ianelli's birth, curated by Denise Mattar, brings a generous selection of the work of the artist and allows the understanding of his creative process.
