- Summary
- Two hundred and sixty donated works were received by the Benito Quinquela Martín Museum in the last 10 years. They include paintings by established artists, sculptures and numerous precious objects that were donated by collectors, relatives and artists who have exhibited in the museum. The number of donations increased in the last two years of the pandemic, so its collection grew to 1,700 works. The collection is jealously guarded by a Commission of Notables that ensures compliance with the founding guidelines of Quinquela Martín: that the works in the collection "should never be far away from the Argentine figurative tradition."
