Summary
The funeral of the radical leader of the Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) party Ricardo Balbin (1904-1981), held in September 1981 was attended by hundreds of thousands of followers whom during the funeral procession of more than 60 km from Buenos Aires to the city of La Plata chanted slogans in favor of democracy and against the military regime. The funeral represented a massive public demonstration by the hundreds of thousands of followers of a man considered by many as the last political caudillo. "More than 40 years of time passed between those events and the current 2023. I am writing this text, after entering the city of La Plata with my images and walking through the center passing in front of Balbin's house." (HKB Translation) --Page 6.
