- Summary
- Set in the early 1970s, Bright Angel Time is the story of Kate and her sisters, and the life on the road they adopt when their divorced and devastated mother falls in love with the mysterious, seductive Anton. Introduced to a new lifestyle marked by license and freedom, poker and alcohol, and exposure to sex and drugs, the girls fall into a way of living that is vastly different from the traditional days they once spent with their geologist father.
- He had taught them about rocks and solid things, especially a layer of rock in the Grand Canyon called Bright Angel Shale.
