Summary
Fifteen-year-old Kirk is left in charge of the family farm while Parker is away. When his brother brings home a stray dog, Kirk is displeased but he lets him stay. Yeller saves Kirk\u0027s life, but contracts rabies in the process. Kirk is forced to kill him.
