- Summary
- An exploration of four pieces by Helmut Lachenmann. The disc includes four television programs, originally broadcast in 2004 as part of the series Musica Viva : Forum der Gegenwartsmusik on station BR-alpha, featuring performances presented by Musica Viva in Munich. The television programs (ca. 15 min. each) include interviews with the composer and conductor. Also included is a full length performance film of each piece, recorded at the Lukaskirche in Munich on October 24, 2003.
