- Original Chinchorro (northern Chile) mummies never before exhibited in public and considered the oldest examples of mummified human remains in the world. The exhibition comprises more than 850 pieces from the holdings of the museum of the Universidad de Tarapacá in San Miguel de Azapa and represents the powerful medical, scientific and artistic accomplishments of this ancient civilization.
