Through personal interviews with Tan and various composers, critics and colleagues, Sorceress of the new piano explores Margaret Leng Tan's career as a pianist, her work with John Cage, and her development as a toy piano virtuoso. The maverick of the piano contains complete performances of seven works, principally by John Cage; some filmed during stage performances.
