"Thirty-five women artists active in Puerto Rico (most of them born in Puerto Rico) presented their works in a 1990 exhibition shown in San Juan and Santo Domingo. Professor Myrna Rodríguez offers a clear and concise historic perspective of the situation of the arts for women in the island up to present day. In her introduction, Dominican critic Marianne de Tolentino explains the visual interests of each artist.
