- Summary
- The exhibition presented the Tijuana Cultural Center consists of more than a hundred pieces, including watercolors, serigraphs, art-objects, models, acrylic and digital printing inks and high definition (obtained through a technique called glicee). Among the pieces included in are two of his iconic works: the famous chair-hand and the equally famous butterfly-chair, along with the chair-centipede, among other equally singular as astroecolgicos watches, several of his bold tables, twisting design, including the table stand and side table Galileo II San Pedro. Friedeberg is one of the most important living artists in Mexico, with a powerful imagination, highly expressive and refined skill for composition, drawing and graphics, which is presented as "architect of painting, graphic designer of his time , consummate pop artist and mathematician of the brush, pastel, watercolor and ink. "Originally from Germany, Peter Friedeberg born in Florence, Italy, in 1936. He emigrated with his mother to Mexico in 1940 as a result of World War II. Since then he has lived and worked in Mexico.
