Summary

This report details the findings of a comprehensive study of Canada's business links with two South American developing countries - Brazil and Peru. The principal purpose of the research is to analyze the nature of Canadian investment and trade links with Brazil and Peru within the context of the development of these countries. More specifically, the study concerns itself with three issues: the business environment in each country, the countries' links with Canadian trade and investment, and incentives and constraints to the enhancement of Canada's business links with these countries.
