- Summary
- The Institute has undertaken a study of the form, content, function, and operation of the Public Inquirers Act with a view to deciding whether or not it should be replaced or reformed. This paper sets out the issues which have arisen during the study. It also sets out the considerations which appear to the Institute to be relevant to the issues. Although the focus of the paper is the Alberta Act, much of the discussion is relevant in the other provinces, the two Territories, and in the federal jurisdiction.
