Ch. 5 (p. 153-167), "Rapporti fra le 'aljamas' sarde e la corte", describes the various taxes imposed on the Jewish community in Sardinia. Pp. 241-249, "Conclusioni", discuss the deterioration in the status of the Jews on the island after 1481, the introduction of special clothing, prohibition of leaving the Jewish quarter, and other restrictions, as well as the expulsion of the Sardinian Jews in 1492. Pp. 259-677 contain documents in Latin, Italian, and Catalan.
