  • This report is based upon a special census of the inmates of almshouses in the year 1910. The results of that census have already been published in a series of statistical tables appearing as Bulletin 120 of the publication of this Bureau. This report reproduces these tables and in addition contains a discussion of the statistics, with tables presenting ratios and percentages. cf. "Letter of transmittal," p. 6.
