• Contains an extensive supplement (p. [91]-151) which did not appear in the original German book, but was published for the first time in the Athenian newspaper Ta Nea during May 1955. The supplement, entitled "Hellēnikes apantēseis sto vivlio tou Rolant Champe," consists of evaluations of and additions to Hampe's book by various Greeks who had more or less direct experience in the events reported in the book.
