Summary
Memoirs of a French Jew who was arrested with his mother, sister, and brothers in 1942 and interned in Drancy, after refusing to reveal the whereabouts of his father, who had joined the resistance. The members of the family were then deported to various concentration camps. Obrejan was sent to Blechhammer, and then to Buchenwald and Langenstein-Zwieberge, where he was liberated in 1945. He was the only member of his family who survived the Holocaust.
