Summary
Chs. 1-3 (p. 11-83) give an overview of the German film industry under the Nazi regime and analyze the image of the Aryan in Nazi films, especially those of Leni Riefenstahl. Chs. 4-6 (p. 84-140) analyze the image of the Jew, focusing on the films "Jud Süss" and "Der ewige Jude". The final chapter deals with postwar representations of Jews and Nazis in films, including popular American productions (e.g. the TV film "Holocaust") and Claude Lanzmann's "Shoah".
