Summary
A biography of Roman Levin, a Russian Jew who was 11 years old in 1941 when his mother and sister were shot by the Nazis near the ghetto of Brest. He managed to survive in German-occupied territory, hidden by a Polish woman. Levin's memoirs appeared in Russian as "Malchik iz getto" (Moskva: Nauchno-prosvetitelnyi Tsentr "Kholokost", 1996).
