Summary
  • "During the 1997-1998 school year, thirteen Delaware students set off on a remarkable journey of exploration and discovery. Representing thirteen different areas and neighborhoods in Delaware, they took photographs of the places that they knew best - their own personal landmarks. Armed with a camera and a diary and trained in photographic techniques and preservation issues, they chronicled Delaware. The result is the students' photographs and comments that are included in this book. The gift they have given to us is an insight into our history and our future. I invite you to explore Delaware through their eyes."
  • Exhibition consists of photographs taken by 13 students from different neighborhoods in Delaware of landmarks important to their lives.
