  • Exhibition of the only surviving example of an aristocratic Byzantine costume, temporarily entrusted to the Musée d'art et d'histoire laboratory for restoration. It was discovered in one of the Cantacuzino dynasty tombs in the church of Saint-Sophia at Mistra (Greece), and belonged to a young Byzantine princess at the beginning of XV century. This apparel -- clothes, braids and fragments -- will be exhibited in Geneva before being returned to Greece.
